About Me

I am the wife of one, mother of five, master of one golden retriever, and happily retired public school system employee.

My Work Space

I am a graduate of Adrian College where I received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Home Economics. I have been sewing since the 4th grade when my mom taught me to make Barbie clothes. Since then, it’s been designing my wedding dress, countless costumes for Halloween and drama productions and, recently, teaching home-school co-op classes and beginning quilt classes in my shop. My love affair with quilting began about 15 years ago but I haven’t had much time for it until the last eight years.

My greatest joy is when a customer cries when they pick up their quilt or wall-hanging. I truly know I have succeeded in touching their heart and it proves to me again how special the fabrics of our lives truly are!
